The borehole in the Etetak neighborhood of Yaound\u00e9 was put back into operation this Saturday, March 7, 2026, following the replacement of its motor pump, which had broken down after heavy use during the dry season. The drop in groundwater levels and the reduced flow from the borehole had led residents to rely heavily on this source of drinking water. <\/p>\n

Following the breakdown, a rapid consultation was held between the local project coordinator, William Mbianda, and Pere Bufi, representative in Catalonia of the association Educaci\u00f3 Sanitat Etetak. The intervention made it possible to replace the pump and restore the service. <\/p>\n

Project leaders hope that in the coming days the installation will return to normal operation, once again ensuring a regular supply of drinking water for the residents of the Etetak neighborhood.<\/p>\n
